Allah (SWT) says in the Quran:
“And recite the Quran with Tarteel (in a slow, pleasant tone and style)” (73:4).
The Prophet (peace be upon him) further emphasized the importance of proper recitation, saying: “Verily the one who recites the Quran beautifully, smoothly, and precisely, he will be in the company of the noble and obedient angels. And as for the one who recites with difficulty, stammering or stumbling through its verses, then he will have twice that reward.” [Sahih al-Bukhari 4937]
Whether you’re a complete beginner or have some prior knowledge of Quran recitation, this course is the perfect starting point. We cater to all levels, starting with the fundamentals and gradually progressing towards mastering Tajweed.
What is Tajweed?
The word “Tajweed” translates to “beautification” or “improvement.” This course goes beyond simply learning the words; it teaches you the proper pronunciation and recitation techniques to truly bring out the melody and eloquence of the Quran.
We gradually introduce Tajweed rules, from basics to advanced, covering essential aspects and we keep in mind:
– To familiarize students with Arabic letters and their sounds
– To enable students to recognize the shape of letters in various positions within words
– To teach students the synthesis of Arabic words
– To instruct students in the recognition and proper pronunciation of short vowels, long vowels, and sukun
– To educate students on the rules of normal Madd, extended Madd, and tanween
– To guide students in the correct usage of fattah followed by wau or yaa sakin, extended madd, and shad
– To train students in forming words and sentences while properly placing vowels on each letter
– To facilitate the independent reading of the Quran with proficiency
– To instruct students on the articulation points of Arabic letters
– To provide an understanding of Tajweed rules, including noon saakinah, meem saakinah, lam saakinah, and qalqalah mechanism
– To explain the different lengthenings (mudood) and formation of voweled and non-voweled letters

The founder of eMadrasah is originally from India but currently lives in Saudi Arabia and the institute is managed from Saudi Arabia itself.
We are providing services worldwide for Urdu and English speakers. You can learn from any place according to your suitable time zone.
In which language do you teach?
Most of the courses are taught in Simple Urdu/ Hindi. We also teach many subjects in English. You will get updates of free courses in English on this WhatsApp group.
Do you teach kids too?
Yes, we do the Quran and basic Islamic Teachings. But we do not offer all courses for kids.
Do you offer any free courses?

Which school of thought eMadrasah has?
We are Ahlus Sunnah. Our curriculum adheres to the authentic teachings of the Salaf as-Salih (the righteous predecessors), ensuring a sound and comprehensive understanding of Islam.
We teach comparative Fiqh taking opinions from various sunnī schools which help to develop critical thinking skills through in-depth analysis and discussions.
Do you have female faculties?
We have both male and female teachers. It differs according to the course description.
Do you offer one-to-one classes?
Normally we allow limited numbers for every batch so the teacher can focus on every student, but if someone wants special one to one classes, we do fulfill their requirements too.
